Tots Clay Play: In this sensory studio, littles experience the world of clay through touch! Walkers and their guardians will play with clay through multiple stations and with various stages of clay. This unique class helps your child develop patience and concentration, improves eye-hand coordination, enhances creativity and imagination. This is not a project-based class however, littles will have the choice of keeping 1 item made in class, brain coil bowls or a wheel experience. Appropriate for Ages 1-6. Parent/Child Class

Raku Workshop: Inspired by traditional Japanese raku firing, this Western-style raku involves removing pottery from a kiln while at bright red heat and placing it into containers with combustible materials. Once the materials ignite, the containers are closed. This produces an intense reduction atmosphere which affects the colors in glazes and clay bodies and produces brilliant metallic blues, purples, coppers, red and yellows Note: Rake ware is not food-safe.

Pottery Camps: These weeklong sessions are a great way to experience clay by getting multiple attempts on the wheel in a short period of time. Held outside with the cats and chickens, students will spend 3 days learning the basics of wheel throwing (pulling walls, shaping and trimming pieces will all be discussed). 1 day learning basic handbuilding construction (coil, pinch and slab) and Friday painting all their creations. This camp guarantees messy hands and happy hearts.
